经济全球化的浪潮使会展业在国家经济发展中的地位愈加凸显,中国已成为全球发展最快的展览市场。在此发展过程中,会展文本的翻译起到举足轻重的作用。本研究拟以进博会与消博会等近两年国际展览会与博览会官方双语会展文本为研究对象,基于奈达的功能对等翻译理论,通过具体译例分析,从会展文本的含义、分类及语言特点等层面,分析会展英语翻译中的语言信息、语言表达和语言呼唤这三种功能,探讨会展文本翻译所需的翻译策略及原则,无论对功能对等翻译理论的应用与发展,还是促进会展文本翻译更好地服务会展经济,都具有较大的现实意义。The tide of economic globalization has increasingly highlighted the role of the exhibition industry in national economic development. China has become the fastest-growing exhibition market in the world. In this process of development, the translation of exhibition texts plays a crucial role. This study aims to take the official bilingual exhibition texts of international exhibitions and expos, such as the China International Import Expo and the China International Consumer Products Expo, held in the past two years as the research object. Based on Nida’s functional equivalence translation theory, it analyzes specific translation examples. By examining the meaning, classification, and linguistic characteristics of exhibition texts, the study explores the three functions of language information, language expression, and language appeal in the translation of exhibition English. It also discusses the translation strategies and principles required for the translation of exhibition texts. This research has significant practical implications for both the application and development of functional equivalence translation theory and the better service of exhibition text translation to the exhibition economy.
Hulstijn和Laufer认为,由阅读任务引发的投入量包括需求、搜寻和评估三个因素,投入量的大小直接决定了学习者在阅读过程中对词汇的习得与保持。本研究基于投入量假设,对北京某高校石油化工专业学生的词汇附带习得情况进行了实证性研究,旨在探讨三因素对于阅读过程中词汇附带习得的影响是否相同,以期对EFL (English as a Foreign Language)环境下的词汇教学与学习带来启示。结果表明,投入量相同,但三因素强弱水平不一的阅读任务对于学习者词汇的习得和保持影响明显不同。评估因素的影响具有决定性。对于词汇附带习得而言,在原创语境下,产出性地使用目标词的阅读任务效果最好。对于词汇教学和词汇学习而言,评估因素较强的关注意义的任务值得推荐。
