随着经济全球化的不断扩大,我国同各国之间的石油经济贸易往来日益频繁,使得经贸英语的作用日益凸显。长句翻译作为英语翻译中一种常见的表达形式,成为翻译过程中的重点。本文从《Introduction to Petroleum Economics》一书中提取文本,借助计算机语言Python提取出本书中的长句,并在功能对等理论的指导下对所抽取的长句案例进行分析,进而总结出恰当的翻译方法,以期提高石油经贸类文本的汉译质量。
